Since 1984, the White Mountain Community Center has been a place where older adults can share a meal, make friends, find support, and remain connected to the community they call home. As the needs of our neighbors have grown, so has our work. Today, we welcome people of all ages while continuing to put the well-being of seniors at the heart of what we do. Every meal served, pantry shelf stocked, activity offered, and welcoming conversation shared is made possible by people who believe our community is stronger when we care for one another. Our sponsors and donors help us provide nutritious meals, food assistance, social activities, and resources for people across the White Mountains. They also help us maintain a warm, inviting place where seniors can stay active, feel valued, and age with dignity. Support takes many forms. A business may sponsor an event or provide supplies. A neighbor may make a gift in honor of someone they love. A volunteer may give an afternoon to help with a meal or food delivery. Each contribution matters because each one helps us respond to a real need close to home.
A Letter of Thanks
Dear Sponsors and Donors, On behalf of the White Mountain Community Center, our board, staff, volunteers, and the neighbors we serve, thank you for standing with us. Your generosity reaches far beyond a single donation. It helps place a meal in front of someone who might otherwise eat alone. It helps a family bring groceries home when their budget is stretched thin. It gives older adults opportunities to build friendships, learn, celebrate, and remain part of a caring community. It helps us keep our doors open and our welcome genuine for everyone who walks through them. Serving the White Mountains means listening closely to our neighbors. Some come to us for food assistance. Others come for an activity, a familiar face, or a reason to get out of the house. Many find more than they expected: a place where they are known, included, and glad to return. Your support gives us the means to meet those needs with care and consistency. We are especially grateful to the businesses, foundations, community groups, and individuals who choose to invest in local people. Whether you have supported us for years or have just joined us, please know that we see your commitment and value your trust. You are an essential part of every service we provide and every connection we help create. Thank you for believing in our seniors, our families, and the future of the White Mountain Community Center. We are proud to serve this community alongside you. With heartfelt gratitude, Megan Campbell Director, White Mountain Community Center
